The fisherman at first refuses, but is touched by the girl's tears, so he promises to return them if she performs a celestial dance before him.
She tells him that she is a celestial girl serving in the Moon Palace and asks Hakuryo to return her clothes without which she would not be able to return to heaven. He decides to take them with him and turn them into a family fortune, but suddenly a wonderfully beautiful girl appears before him. One spring morning, the fisherman Hakuryo from Mio goes fishing and notices marvelous clothes among the branches of a pine tree.
